Together we can make a difference! The OPFNE (501c3) exists to assist those living with Parkinson's in our area. We support many excellent programs such as Come Dance With Me and the Amalia Foundation plus administer 19 support groups, all in Northeast Ohio. We present an annual symposium on pertinent topics for those with Parkinson’s and we also work with many state and national organizations to distribute information locally and to support their research efforts. A donation to OPFNE helps those in our community living with Parkinson’s find support, friendship, and resources right here at home!
Thank you to all of the donors that have so generously supported OPFNE this past year. Your donations have enabled us to:
- present our annual symposium reaching over 200 people with Parkinsons,
- Support the Amalia Foundation with weekly delay the Disease classes throughout North east Ohio
- Present the second annual Come Dance with Me, Big Band Concert and dance
- Create and maintain a new website featuring events, classes and support group information for northeast , Ohio
- PEP Newsletter to area people with Parkinson’s
- Parkinson Foundation Moving Day
- UH Parkinson Wellness Program
- Geauga Department of Aging exercise class for Parkinson’s
- Kent State Research Grant for Cycling
These are just the highlights of what we have been able to do with your help this year. Thank you!
